The county of Middlesex is proud to have a thriving league cricket community, with over 400 clubs actively competing in an array of leagues and competitions across the county.
There are opportunities for Men, Women and Juniors of all abilities to play recreationally within Middlesex.
Details on some of the affiliated leagues in Middlesex are below:
MIDDLESEX COUNTY CRICKET LEAGUE (MCCL)
The Middlesex County Cricket League (MCCL), incorporating the ECB Middlesex Premier League (one of 26 ECB Premier Leagues in England & Wales) is the only major Saturday league within our county’s recreational cricket pyramid and currently has over 50 clubs competing, with multiple teams, across over 20 divisions in the league structure.

MIDDLESEX WOMEN'S CRICKET LEAGUE (MWCL)
The Middlesex Women's Cricket League is the main competitive Women's league in Middlesex and features three divisions, the Esme Irwin Premier League, the Derick Morgan League and the Sheila Hill League, with over 25 Clubs competing in the structure.

MIDDLESEX PREMIER CRICKET LEAGUE (MPCL)
The Middlesex Premier Cricket League was founded in 1992 and currently runs six divisions on Sundays and a T20 competition for over 30 Clubs in the league structure.
The MPCL is one of the largest and most established competitive Sunday Leagues in the country.

MIDDLESEX JUNIOR CRICKET ASSOCIATION (MJCA)
The MJCA has been running cricket competitions for young people in Middlesex for over 50 years. Now, over 15,000 boys and girls in London, north of the Thames, take part in their competitions.

The Victoria Park Community Cricket League (VPCCL)
The Victoria Park Community Cricket League was formed in 1988 to provide a wide range of people with access to competitive cricket. Based in Victoria Park in east London, we play two competitions, the league and a knock-out cup, for both Men's and Women's teams.

THE MIDDLESEX DEVELOPMENT LEAGUE (MDL)
The MDL aims to inspire more young people to play the game more often, competitively, and in the Spirit of Cricket. Primarily engaging 16-21 year olds, The MDL was setup to respond to the needs of clubs in relation to the ongoing development of younger players. The competition
Entry is open to any organisation affiliated to Middlesex Cricket and all 40 over matches take place on Sundays, once school, college and university exams have finished in mid-June. The six-week Group Stage is arranged geographically and a minimum of seven players must be aged Under 21 or below. All players wear coloured clothing and games are played with the pink ball.

VITALITY UNDER 19 T20 BLAST
The national U19 T20 competition was developed through player insight to combat a significant trend within clubs – young players dropping out of the game after Under 15s. The insight included these key factors:

MITC INDOOR CRICKET COMPETITION
The county stage of the ECB Indoor National Club Championship usually takes place every autumn at the Middlesex Indoor Cricket School. It is a six-a-side tournament played with a hard ball. Group winners and Runners-up qualify for Trophy and Shield finals days. The Trophy winners then take part in the Round of 32 match to determine the 16 teams that go forward to the four Regional Finals Days in the new year. The winners of the Regional finals then compete in the National Finals Day at Lord’s in March.
